Choose Your Brew Method
- French Press: Bold & full-bodied
- Pour Over (V60 / Chemex): Clean & aromatic
- Espresso Machine: Intense & rich crema
- Moka Pot / South Indian Filter: Strong & traditional
Coffee-to-Water Ratio
- Recommended:
- 1:16 ratio — 15g coffee to 250 ml water
- For espresso: 1:2 ratio — 18g coffee to 36ml shot
Grind Size Matters
- French Press: Coarse grind
- Pour Over: Medium grind
- Espresso: Fine grind
- Moka Pot: Medium-fine grind
Water Temperature
- Ideal: 90-96°C (just off the boil)
- Avoid boiling water to prevent bitterness.
Brew Time
- French Press: 4 minutes
- Pour Over: 2.5 - 3 minutes
- Espresso: 25-30 seconds extraction
- Moka Pot: 3-4 minutes on low flame
